Dobrochna Kalwa – historian, researcher of cultural history of women/gender, oral history and methodology of history. Author and co-author of, among others, Active Woman in Interwar Poland, Write Your History Yourself. Politics, Historiography and Museum Narratives from the Perspective of Women, Migration als Ressource: Zur Pendelmigration polnischer Frauen in Privathaushalte der Bundesrepublik, History of Ordinary Women and Men, From mentalities to anthropological history. Theory and methods, Customs in Poland. From the Middle Ages to the Present. Member of the editorial board of journals Aspasia. The International Yearbook of Central, Eastern, and Southeastern European Women’s and Gender History and Women’s History Review, member of the Commission on Women’s History of the Committee of Historical Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the board of the International Federation for Researchers in Women’s History.
